New Bots Being Tested

There are several people working on new or improved bots at the moment that are all based on the old Ace bot.

[M] and acc, Hypov8 and {GT}TheGhost are all working on them.

You might see the Luschen botmatch test server, Hypo's test lagless net code +bots server and {GT}TheGhost's Bloodmoney server. They all have bots that are being tested so if you see any of these servers online, jump in, and give them a try.

Your comment made me remember that there is a TDM bots mod already called TeamBot. It’s very old but I think it was made by {GT}Ghost.

Hi Felikkz,

you can play that already now at any time on the Luschen Botmatch server!

Go to my list page http://kingpin.hambloch.com and check the drop down menus below the Luschen Botmatch server. You can change the server from Std Deathmatch to Team Deathmatch or even Bagman (yes, the bots do deposit and steal money!).

When you change to a team based game, the bots will all join the same team…

As Mr Damage also mentioned in this post, I am trying to work out a new bot based mod. ACC has helped me get started by creating a clean project from a kingpin sdk with ace mod i had found (thanks dude!).
It is currently running on kp.servegamecom:31513 (it’s not listed on gs or my list).

$50 for whoever can win the current map! ;)
