ON the same note, I am about to get a new PC. Will gl stuff, (quake
qoole etc) run on the AGP card I am getting, or do I still need a 3dfx
card.
And since 3dfx is an add on card, will it work with an AGP card?

Thanks for bringing up this question, I'm planning on getting a new P2-300
with and ATI AGP card. This is from ATI's site:

Operating Systems Supported
Windows 95
Direct 3D
Windows NT 4.0 (AGP requires Microsoft's Service Pack 3)
OpenGL (Windows NT 4.0 only)
Windows 3.1 DOS 5.0 or higher

The site never really mentions any compatibility with 3Dfx cards or add ons
and their AGP site is kind of vague when it comes to game playing.
