I recently started playing Hexen2 and I found the 4 classes to be very
different in terms of skill and weapons. I just wondering that which
class is the best in general? Or which class can defeat the real tough
levels easiest?

I finished Hexen1 with first the mage and then the cleric. I loved the
mage, mostly because of his cheap unlimited long range weapon. Without
that, I prefer the cleric because unlike the mage, all 4 of his weapons
are useful in different situations. Moreover, most of the cleric weapons
take less mana.

However, when I started Hexen2, they took off the unlimited shot from
the Necromancer. Moreover his ranged weapons takes so much mana! It
takes at least 6 magic missiles to kill an archer, plus there are those
missed ones you have to account for. And you only get 50 missiles for a
level 1 Necromancer! Many times I have to live with only the "hook"
which is just plain pathetic.
