Hiya. I've been searching the net for a Quake app that doesn't seem to
exist. If you know where I can find it, please tell me.

Here's what I need:

I do Quake editing, lots of it. Mainly graphics. Now, what I need is a
program that will let me open a BSP, export the mips and change the
palette to one I specify, by means of maintaining indexes, or nearest
color substitution. Then put them back.

Similar to what I would do in Paint shop pro, which is export the
texture mip, save it to a PCX/GIF, and Load my new palette, save the
PCX, and then import it BACK to the BSP. Basically, at 4 mips per
texture, and about 40 textures in a level, and 10 seconds a mip, this
would take WAY TOO LONG!! I need a way to do it in BATCH format.

Please help me!!! You can email me if you want to. roamac@idirect.com
