(A): Who are you asking?
(B): Nobody on this thread has shot anybody else, so your question is
irrelevant. Here's a slightly different question:

Is saying "I'll shoot you if you try to take away my guns" (as some
gun advocates have said) worse than saying "I'll jail you or fine you
if you try to keep your guns"? No, certainly not, for a number of
reasons. First, you're both just spouting how air. Second, the
right to free speech protects both of you. Third, one of the main
functions of personal weapons ownership is to defend against
tyranny and assults on property and person -- so there's certainly
nothing wrong with saying you'll shoot somebody who tries to
steal your possessions and jail you (which is what gun-control
advocates endorse).

Another question:
Is shooting somebody who tries to violate your rights, jail you, and
steal your property a more moral action than using free speech to
advocate stripping other people of their rights? Yes, because the
shooter is acting in self-defense and is acting to promote the
freedom of himself and others, whereas the speaker is acting in
a hostile and threatening manner in an attempt to limit the freedom
of others.
