I know that in Worldcraft, the bottom centre of many item_? ents on the
map is actually
the bottom left corner of where they end up in the game, which sometimes

pushes the item into a wall or something else, and end up falling out of
the level.
I made a test room with checker floors and walls (one of the std
textures) and put various
things in the center according to worldcraft and then ran the level and
watched where they
actually ended up.  Monsters seemed ok, and the rotating items  too(like
guns and keys),
but all the rest used the bottom left corner like a func_train with its
path_corners.
Monsters on path_corners do this too, and I thought it was neat to watch
one of my ogres
grind his shoulder all the way down a hallway wall because I put the
path_corners in the
middle of the hall instead of 32 units off to the left (in the top
view).
