WARNING: CutNodePortals_r:new portal was clipped away

Can anyone tell me what this means?

I'm trying to QBSP a Q1 TeamFortress map. All the parts compile quickly
and with no errors, I put the parts together, run QBSP, and I get this
warning, after which QBSP never stops running, I've left it for over 8
hrs on occasion. It has plenty huge swap file and doesn't give an 'out
of memory error.'
