hey all..

it seems everyone wants to port their quake1 stuff to quake2. I'm trying
to do just the opposite. I've been trying to bring models and skins from
quake2 into quake1 using Qme 5b. I've been opening the .md2 file, fixing
the palette saving it as a .mdo. Then I reopen
it and save it as a .mdl. When I try to run it in quake1, it crashes
with a wrong version
number error. Has anyone else managed to do this? I have proted the SNG
from the Qtest to quake1 but can't get anything from Q2. If anyone knows
how to do this could you please clue me in?
Thanks for your help...
