I tried the new v90 code via my IModem (server didn't have it yet
though) POD city. Whereas ISDN,Multilink and KFlex all work fine on
same system. I fought almost a year long battle defending X2 but I can
only conclude it is flawed when it comes to packet overloads or
something or another. Last night I played Q2 on the Nashville server
for a few hours and heres my DUN stats:

Total Bytes received: 10,000,000 bytes
Total Bytes sent: 19,000,000 bytes

So the 53K RX and 31.6K TX of X2 would have a problem with the TX being
lower than the RX. I tried X2 with both RX/TX of 53K/64K <-Yes 64K
trasmit as reported by ATI11 and ATI6 and still had the problem of POD.

Granted, If I put a cl_maxfps of 21 (Im running M3dII) the TX/RX ratio
would be different, but probably no much.

KFlex doesn't have that problem though so go figure.

Do the dirty deed of getting a digital connection, the only real way to
allow you to enjoy the game and not have to worry about connect
problems. I did a week ago and couldn't be happier. Plus $30 a month
ISDN w/o surcharge helps.
