Yeah, I guess I was talking to you.  I just figured you thought id stood for
something (note my careful avoidance of the word acronym), since you typed
it in caps.  I've heard it pronounced as a word before in an interview with
most of the id team a few years ago, so I gradually forced myself to say it
correctly, even though I still slip pretty often, with everyone around me
saying it as two letters.
