We are building the ultimate Quake experience in virtual reality. About
$250,000 of VR equipment, the latest in head mounted display (HMD),
stereo display and tracking technology. The concept is to incorporate
Quake in a "Virtual World Entertainment" type operation: briefing,
control center, network play and de-briefing. We have a contract with
the Department of Defence (DoD) for our first test location here in
Hawaii with a planned expansion on over 200 bases and we are now putting
our team together to build and operate this first center.

We are looking for a programmer with entrepreneurial spirit to join our
team. Someone looking for the big paycheck will not find it here at the
beginning. We have a budget of $1,500 per month for each guy on the team
to cover his overhead. We sleep, we work, we play and we love what we
do. Now the people on board will become partners of a project that has
already 5 years of R&D behind it.

It's happening in Hawaii now, and we'll expand from there... The
programmer that we are looking for should have a passion for first
person games, be very adept with Visual Basic, COM and DCOM distributed
applications, DirectX, and the Win32 API. Strong hardware
troubleshooting skills a must. Quake C and TCP/IP protocol previous
experience is a plus. In addition, he will be operating the center like
all of us until we get to the next level. So people skills will be
important We are talking entertainment here... ;-)

We are looking for a long-term relationship and are all dedicated to the
project. If you think that you would love building this with us, don't
hesitate to contact us.
