Map building for Gladiator mod

Each map must be built with seven small arenas in it.
Starting from a relatively small arena 1 to a slightly more complex arena 7.
As the players advance up through the levels they get more weapons added to their inventory.
In arena 1 you start out with pistol.
So you want to make the map simple enough that the match doesn't go on for to long.
Limited armor and health will help the matches end quickly.
Once somebody wins the match in arena 1 they will move up to arena 2 and gain another weapon.
The shotgun. So put ammo for pistol and shotgun in arena 2.

The weapons are prioritized in this order:
pistol, shotgun, tommygun, rocket, grenades, hmg , flamethrower.

arena 1: pistol and crowbar (crowbar is also in every other arena).
arena 2: pistol, and shotgun.
arena 3: pistol, shotgun, and tommygun.
arena 4: pistol, shotgun, tommygun, and rocket.
arena 5: pistol, shotgun, tommygun, rocket, and grenade launcher.
arena 6: pistol, shotgun, tommygun, rocket, grenade launcher, and HMG.
arena 7: pistol, shotgun, tommygun, rocket, grenade launcher, HMG and flamethrower.

Make sure that you have the right ammo for the weapons in each arena.
Also don't forget the HMG cooling mod in arena 6 and 7.

Each arena needs to have a waiting room holding area for players to spawn to.
If the match is still going on in an arena when you get there you spawn to the waiting area
until the match finishes and you challenge the winner of that game.
Build a small room overlooking the arena and use a brush with the "clear" texture as the window.
You'll find this texture in the "gladiator" texture set.
Texture the window brush with the same texture as the surrounding walls and then
make one side transparent. Do this by selecting one side of your window brush,
the side that's facing your holding room.
With that side selected hit the "s" key to bring up the surface
properties box and then check the "alpha" box.

Each arena needs to have death match spawners with different styles set.
In arena one place your info_player_deathmatch entities where you want them and
then give them a style of "1"
Now place at least 3 info_player_deathmatch spawners in the waiting room for arena 1
and give them a style of "12" 
For the waiting room spawners you just include a "2" after their regular style numbers.
