Jerry Is Working On His First Map For Kingpin

Jerry is working on his first map for Kingpin. It's a small deathmatch map full of holes!

A beta will hopefully be tested at Thursday's games and then it will be released.

The Thursday Games this week will be an hour or so of Deathmatch then the remainder of the night will be either GunRace Mod or the new Killamod on Newskool servers. The second choice will be determined shortly.

Mapping Video Tutes

Fredz has added Hypo's video tutorial on making trees in Radiant to the Tutorials/Mapping section in the Menu on the left hand side of the page.

It joins Hypo's other video tute on how to make archways.

Small Update For GunRace Mod On Way

Hypov8 is currently working on v1.3 of the GunRace mod.

It is a relatively small update and will feature the latest monkey mod map voting screen, a fix for a bug that can crash the game, and he has added the GunRace weapons to two more custom models - Coffe and Leela.

He is just looking into one small problem now and hten it will be released.

Thursday Game of Instagib, GunRace and CTF Mods

The Thursday Games this week, starting at 9.30pm UK time, will thirty minutes or so of Instagib, a hour or so of the  GunRace Mod and the remainer of the night will be Capture the Flag.

We have chosen to start the night with Instagib as it was Gussardo's favourtie mod.

We Lost A Good Friend Today

I received some heart breaking news today. Our good friend Andreas (Gussardo to his Kingpin friends) has passed away in a motor cyle accident.

Andreas was a much loved member of our community and will be sorely missed.

Our heart felt condolences go out to Jan and his family.

Rest in Peace my friend.

Thursday Game Of GunRace Mod 4th July

The Thursday Game this week will be the GunRace Mod.

Ok I finally have the details of the schedule for the big 20th Anniversary game on Sunday.

***Please note that the games will be starting earlier at 8.30pm UK time/3.30pm EST.***

The planned shedule is -

8.30pm Classic Gangbang (KPDM1-5 maps)

9.00pm Test of new Killa mod (capture and hold style mod)

9.30pm Custom deathmatch

10.00pm Bagman

11.00pm onwards  other mods will be chosen to play from whoever is in the server.

Don't worry about the number of server changes - Monkey Harris will be at the game and he now has a command in the Monkey Mod (which all servers use) that allows the admin to move all players to another server seamlessly.

It's possible the schedule might slip a little. For instance I have gotten MH to add 11 different maps to the custom deathmatch server so if ppl want to play some of them it may be more than 30 minutes in that server.
