I just found this older Bagman map named Octogon Re made by Hogie and [BEER]BudIce.
It's one of several versions of the Octogon Bagman map.
Some of the textures were missing but I manged to find all but one, and luckily, Goat had that one.
Octogon Re is a smallish, straight forword, Bagman map. Pretty standard bases, with the usual weapon caches, and the centre area is a large outdoor octogon shaped area.
You can download Octogon Re (team_octo_rev.bsp) from here.

There was a corrupt version of the KiT+ (kit_plus.bsp) on the ---Battys kit--- server that was causing the server to crash.
The map has been replaced with the good version from kingpin.info.
If you have downloaded the corrupt version from the server when you try to join you will get an error message that local version of the map differs from the server version.
So I suggest you download the good version from here.
Just exctract/unzip the file to your kingpin folder, overwrite existing file when asked, and it will be placed in the correct location.

Here is a Bagman map we didn't have in our archives.
Team HLWell by Hogie is a large Bagman map converted from Half-Life and uses all custom HL textures.
The bases are large and multi levelled. The safe money bags are at the back in large silos. There are several paths to the team bases throuugh the middle or via underwater tunnels. There are the usual weapon caches in the bases.
If I remember rightly it has an end of map cutscene but that only works in the Curse mod.
Cepheus is a new deathmatch map that I have converted from Quake 1 after being made aware of this map by Elfor.
The original is a great looking map and was created by Adib Murad. Adib gave me permission to convert his map to Kingpin.
Cepheus is a smallish map with three levels providing lots of vertical action. It uses some really nice looking custom textures. It features two lifts to get between the first and second levels and two teleports to get around the rest of the map.
If you have installed the MH Kingpin patch ver5 you will see a new entry in the Options Menu - Custom Model Sounds yes/no.
If you set this to Yes then you will hear custom sounds for the player models that have them.
Many of the Quake 2 models that have been converted to Kingpin have custom sounds but Kingpin has not supported custom sounds for player models until ver5 of the MH patch.
What I have been doing is finding the Kingpin models that have sounds in Quake2 and tranfering them over. Thirty one player models now have custom sounds. There were some others but their sounds consist of squeeks and grunts so I didn't bother.
I have put together a sound pack for the thirty one models and also updated the complete custom models pack.
If you already have most/all of the cusotm player models I suggest just downloading the sound pack.
If you have no custom models or just a few I suggest getting the complete model pack.
Just unzip/extract the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
To check that you installed them correctly just go to the Luschen Botmatch server or Luschen GunRace+bots server, where the bots are mostly player models, and you should hear a euphonius mix of custom sounds :)
Btw these sounds wont downlaod from servers so you need to download the pack.
Of course if you get tired of the sounds you just change the Custom Model Sound option to No and you wont hear them anymore.
After posting about the re-textured version of KPDM5 the other day I thought it would be good to post about the other versions of the map that people might not know exist.
Central Towers Urban was made by Whoop Ass and is the KPDM5 map totally re-textured to give it a rougher more urban feel.
You can download Central Towers Urban (kp5u.bsp) from here.
Here is an older deathmatch map called The Gauntlet that was converted to Kingpin by {GT}Knight.
It is a two level, arena style, map converted from Quake 2. The are two teleports at either end of the lower level that transport you to the upper level.
If you fall into the red stuff on the lower level you will die. It uses custom textures and has ample weapons and items.
Ever since Gamespy shutdown, we have been using the Qtracker master server to maintain the list of Kingpin servers but that appears to finally be on its way out (it was due to shutdown over a year ago), so we have now switched to a different master server.
If you downloaded GameSpyLite from kingpin.info in the last 18 months then you don't need to do anything but if you're using an older version (or the Qtracker server browser) then you s...hould get the latest GameSpyLite, to be able to see all Kingpin servers.
If you're using an old version (v1 or v2) of MH's patch then you will need to update that to see all servers in its in-game server browser.
Easiest way to tell if your Gamespylite is up to date is to open it and if you see a server named “Get the latest GameSpyLite from http://www.kingpin.info to see all servers” you have an outdated version.
I have put together a map-pack of all the maps released in 2018. This is all the deathmatch, CTF, GunRace and Bagman maps. 36 maps in total.
I didn't include beta maps that have since been finalised or Killa's beta maps as I spoke to him and he will be finalising his maps in the next few weeks.
I also didn't include Halloween or Xmas mod maps as they are/or will be included in the XMas/Halloween mod files.
I did include the maps made for the GunRace mod as they are now finding their way onto the deathmatch servers.
I have updated the Def and FGD (Forge Game Data) files for Kingpin. Those are entites files for Map editors in Kingpin.
Most people that making maps where using whoop_def file or just the orginale def file that game with the map editor. Allot enties are there misssing or broken. ACC already figured that out with his SPMOD and entity guide. Where mostly these new def files are also based on. Just see the readme.txt for more info.
If you using radiant make sure there is a def file in kprad\*.def for example: kprad\kingpin.def
I also updated NetRadiant kingpin package with the new def file.
The FGD files are also based on the def file just checked manualy and got new options like showing diffrent models and selecting options as showed in the picture above.
Monkey Harris has released version 5 of his Kingpin patch.
A summary of the new features:-
* All available resolutions are now included in the video mode option in the visuals menu, so you don't need to use the config app to access them.
* Custom resolutions are possible by dragging the window edges and also with a new "vid_size" cvar.
* Fullscreen mode can be set to always use the native resolution.
* The graphics system is no longer reinitialized every time a setting is changed in the visuals menu. Changes can also be applied quicker by just pressing enter instead of using the "apply changes" option.
* Small text HUD items (eg. "time left") and centered text messages use the hi-res font (like in the console).
* The size of HUD items (and centered text messages) can be adjusted via a new option in the visuals menu.
* Centered text message are not logged any more, to stop the overlay and chat text areas being cleared whenever a centered text message is shown.
* Up to 30 crosshairs can be installed. The selected crosshair is also shown alongside in the options menu.
* Health-based crosshair colour options.
* Sound files are loaded asynchronously (in the background) to prevent the game stuttering when Kingpin is installed on a slow drive.
* Custom model sounds are supported (but not downloaded from servers). Some of Hypo's recent model updates have included sounds.
* Custom player model extras (hats/cigars/etc) are downloaded from servers.
* Binds are reloaded from the main config whenever changing mod so that mod-specific binds don't affect other mods.
* F12 can be set to ask for confirmation before quitting.
* Alt-tab works now.
