Recently I posted about the community patch - the MH Kingpin patch - and said it contains an inhouse server browser (go to Gangbang->Join Network Server menu).
If you prefer to use an old school server browser then we have several to choose from, including an updated GameSpyLite
here.
Remember if you buy Kingpin from Steam or GoG it doesn't include a working server browser. You should grab the MH Kingpin patch anyways for all the improvements and fixes and then you can either use the included server browser or grab a stand alone server browser from the link above.

If you are new to this site or new to Kingpin you may not know about the Kingpin community patch - the MH Kingpin patch.
It has many fixes and tweaks, adds new features in the Options and Visuals menus, allows custom resolutions, fixes most problems that stop ppl from launching the game
and for multiplayer it adds an in game server browser (.go to gangbang -> join network server to see all the Kingpin servers).
It really is a must have.

Here is a Bagman version of the Shoot First... Death Match map I have done. The original map was made by
Macanah for Quake 2, who gave me the map to convert to Kingpin.
Shoot First... is a small to medium sized, urban style, Bagman map. It is a two level map with the team bases at either end. The safe bags are on the lower level of the bases.
A large vat of green slime is in the centre of the lower level. There are two crisscrossing walkways on the top of the vat.
On either side of the the vat of slime there are shipping containers. There are teleports in both of the containers that teleport you to the upper level.
At the back of both team bases in the lower level there are lifts that take you to the upper level (and back again).
The upper level consists of two side corridors that connect to the two team bases. There is also a cross platform in the middle, containing the money drop, that allows you to jump down to the lower level (via two cross beams).
There are ample weapons and items and twelve player spawns for each team.
The map features graffiti textures made by the
Roarke twins.

Monkey Harris has released another new test version of the MH Kingpin patch. All the updates are to add support for hires graphics.
Here's another patch update for testing. The main change is that images (except pics) are loaded asynchronously (in the background) to reduce delays and stutters (eg. when a player joins the game or changes skin). Another change is that mipmaps are generated by the video card (when supported) instead of Kingpin doing it, to perhaps save a little more time. Both of these changes apply to standard and hi-res files but would be particularly beneficial on the larger hi-res stuff.
"r_hires" cvar changes are also applied immediately now (no need for "vid_restart") and there's a visuals menu option for it (when the "main/hires" dir is present). If there are no problems, I think the hi-res support is pretty much all done now.

Caffeine was having problems launching the Steam version of Kingpin on his Linux system.
He figured it out and has written a little guide in case others have the same issue.
1. Go to ~/SteamLibrary/steamapps/compatdata and delete the folder called 38430
2. Go to ~/SteamLibrary/steamapps/shadercache and delete the folder called 38430
3. On steam, right click on Kingpin, click on Properties..., then on Compatibility
3.1 Check Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool
3.2 Select GE-Proton8-4
4. Try running the game again
Btw 38430 is the Steam game ID for Kingpin.
Ponder is a remake of the macdmponder Quake 2 deathmatch map, done by me. The original map was made by
Macanah who gave me the map to convert or remake for Kingpin.
Ponder is a smallish sized, spacey type, death match map. It is a two-level map with a large vat of Lava in the corner of the upper level that you will have to jump across to get the HMG.
There are teleports in both ends of the lower level of the map, that teleport you to the upper level.
The upper level consists of several buildings, one with a large pool of water where the Grenade Launcher is located underwater.
There are ample weapons and items and fifteen player spawns.
The map features mostly custom textures.

Tunnleram. He originally ported the map from Quake2 for Bagman.
I took the bagman version and cut it in half while adding a few pathways to allow for better flow.

Team Morph Oct v2 is a Bagman map made by
Morph (team_morph_oct_v2.bsp).
It is a medium sized, straight forward, Bagman map with octagon shaped rooms with an octagon shaped floor in the centre, money drop area.
Version2 has more player spawn points added for a total of 10 for each team.

Hypov8 has finished updating the Killerz mod and a Windows version is ready. The source files are now going to be sent to
Goat who will be making a Linux version.
It a simple enough mod, the game starts like normal death match. Everyone races to be the first to reach a set number of frags (2 - 5 set by server option). The first player to reach the required number of frags becomes the Killer.
When someone becomes the Killer and the Killer round starts the "are you ready to be f*cked" sound will play. When the Killer dies (whether by being killed, suiciding, or even if the Killer leaves the server the "ding" sound will play.
When a player becomes the killer they regain full health and get full armour.
When someone becomes the Killer that have a coloured glow. The default is red but there are several other colours as well and now Hypo has added the option of the Killer being covered in flames. All the other players have to gang up on the Killer and take him down.
During the Killer phase all the other players can only kill the Killer and have a white glow around their weapons to distinguish them from the Killer. Once he is killed the DM round restarts and the race is on to become the next Killer.
During the death match round the hud will display number of kills you still need to become the Killer and your current position on the player table.
There are server options that can be set to determine how many frags the Killer gets for fragging another player, for suiciding and how many frags a player gets for fragging the Killer.
The Killer shows up as red in the scoreboard, there are regular screen messages displaying who the current Killer is and, during the Killer phase the Killer sees his name in red as the Killer in lower right of hud. The other players see the Killer's name in green on lower right of their hud.
Back in December 2005
Creamator made a DM version of the Crash mod map Lexington Warehouse, Los Angeles (bom-warehouse).
Being a fan of the crashsquad mod wanted to see a deathmatch version, all tho
this version is much smaller & only containing two original areas from
bom_warehouse.map source & a few areas of my own so the action should be fast paced.
Also added some props to this map.

Gravedigger. I thought we had all Gravedigger's map but not this one.
Team Castlemania v6 is a medium sized Bagman map. The team bases are two large castles, and the safes are on the roofs of the castles.
Unlike most maps the bases aren't opposite each other but adjacent to each other.
We play tested it today and everyone said they liked it.
