Here is the port of the DukeBurger map from
Duke Nukem 3D made by
Joyeuse. It's still currently in beta (b56).
It's a largish map set in and around a Duke Burger joint.
It uses all the original textures, some Duke sounds, and even some map objects from Duke like the health pickups.

Jack Frost released a death match map for Kingpin called

A month later he released a version for Quake III Arena. I recently found this map on an old archive and have uploaded it to kingpin.info.

Rourke brothers run a small blog/webpage dedicated mostly to Kingpin.

Ed released a beta of a new map for the Crash Mod. This one is called
Lead Zeppelin (b1) and has versions for both the Bombing and VIP scenarios (both in the same zip file).
Lead Zeppelin is a largish map set aboard a zeppelin airship.
For the VIP escape version, the VIP has to escape via a small biplane that is accessed by pressing a button in the engine room that lowers two platforms and the VIP has to then jump onto the plane.
For the bomb scenario there are the standard two bomb sites.
The map features many custom textures and some custom sounds.

As I posted a few days again we found a couple of small bugs in the Clownfish DM map. I have finally fixed those bugs and released a final version which you can grab from
here.
We were playing the Crash mod on Thursday and a map loaded that I don't think anyone had played before (at least not in living memory).
The map is Subway (bom_subway_0.2.bsp) for the bombing scenario and was made by
[YFS]omnI way back in 2001.
Not sure how we missed this one as it's a good Crash map.
The map is large and mostly set in a subway station.
One bomb site is between two train carriages and the other is on a flatbed car of another train.

ClownFish which is a conversion of an old Quake 2 map.
The Quake2 map was originally map by
g1zm0.
ClownFish is a small, vertical style death match map.
It has a small central area on the ground floor and two side staircases that go up to second and third level balconies.
The map has been retextured, features 12 player spawns, and plenty of weapons and items.
Full credit to g1zm0 for creating the original Quake 2 map.

I should have a new DM map out shortly. It's a DM version of an old KPQ2 Mod map.
I have released my bagman version of the death match map The Octagons 2025.
Team The Octagons is a small to medium sized, 3 level, bagman map.
It has two octagonal areas, each of 3 levels, connected by small corridors.
Nikkies base is on the top level of one octagonal area and Dragon's base is on the bottom level of the other.
The money drop (cash wads) is in the middle corridor of the centre level.
The map has 32 player spawns (16 for each team), plenty of weapons and items, and the map features rain.

Tunnleram made a Kingpin themed death match map for Quake 3 called
Ghetto Quake.
It's a medium sized, urban map that utilises mainly Kingpin textures and a couple of Kingpin sounds.

I have made a Bagman version of the recently released The Octagons 2025 death match map.
It should be out in a day or two.

Just a reminder that over thirty of the custom player models now support custom sounds. Grab the
Custom Models Pack and the
MH Kingpin patch and you're good to go.
Just unzip/extract the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Once the Models Pack and MH Patch is installed you will see a new entry in the Options Menu - Custom Model Sounds Yes/No.
Set this to Yes then you will hear custom sounds for the player models that have them.
If you get tired of the sounds, you just change the Custom Model Sound option to No and you won't hear them anymore.

Killa have done another update to the Killapin Mod.
For those unfamiliar with Killapin it is a Capture and Hold mod with a twist (each team has a boss).
Each map has between one and three control points and the teams must capture those control points to gain points and be first to reach the points limit to win the round.
You also gain points by killing other team's players and bosses.
The team boss spawns with 200 hit points, a crowbar and a grappling hook (harpoon). The rest of the team spawn near the boss. If a team member stands near the boss, he will receive health and ammo unless already full. The mod has added a radar and a star in the radar shows where the boss is to make him easier to find if you need health/ammo.
The boss is somewhat vulnerable during normal play (if the boss dies the entire team also dies and then they all respawn). But each round has what's called 'Boss Time' where the team bosses are invulnerable to normal players and can only be killed by other bosses.
There are several new and updated features, and these are the main ones:-

Elfor alerted me that we didn't have the Team Open Bagman map so I have uploaded it.
Team Open is a map from the early 2000's made by [AB]Chais.
It's in the two forts style and has an open layout. It features mainly grey concrete textures and has 18 player spawns.
It has two weapon caches plus an extra HMG and Rocket Launcher in each base and plenty of armour and health. There are 'drop to floor errors' for some shells and rockets but there is still plenty of ammo.

Centurion1121 has loaded al the custom player models onto the Boiler Room DM server.
So, if you join the server and someone is playing with a player model you don't have it will automatically download to you.

I was searching through an old archive and came across this screen of a game from 2001. Some of you may recognise a few of the names.

Ed released a beta of a new map for the Crash Mood. This one is called
Soviet Crash 1989 (b1) and is for the bombing scenario.
It's a medium to large, original map, set in Soviet Russia just before the fall.
It has two bomb sites (one in a TV repair shop and the other on a train).
Ed also figured out a technique that allows longer viewing distances than normal.

We had a game of death match today that turned out pretty good :)
Apart from the regulars we got a returning player, [NK] Spike, and a brand-new player nx5555555.
We host zipfiles containing different extras for the thug and bitch models.
The bitch has a backpack, cap, fedora, stetson and joint.
The thug has a backpack, a new hat, a german helmet, and a joint.
The thug extras zipfile also contains the skin for a German soldier (head_axi, body_axi, legs_axi) as the backpack and German helmet were originally created for this skin.
