Kingpin got a big write up at TV Tropes about all the tropes used in the game.
Though they get a bad wrap, a trope is just an element that shows up often in fictional works. It can be anything from the way certain characters behave, to certain plot developments, to common game mechanics. As a medium, video games often use story tropes from other types of fiction, but have also built up their own library of their own.

Fredz has fixed the downloads and a few other remaining issues. So everything should be back to normal now :)
If you tried to log in yesterday you would have gotten the error message "Your connection isn't private" due to some problem with an SSL certificate.
Fredz has already fixed some of the problem but currently the
Downloads section still ins't working.
He will hopefully get that fixed tomorrow or asap.
Everything else seems to be working now :)
- Website Hosting is done (There still some problems)
- Not all subdomain seems to work yet.
- All ftp accounts need to be recreated.
- Hopefully there not more bugs, but there are a few more
- If everything is good it's fixed now for at least 2 years (probably for more, but need to look into that again after 2 years) :)
- Need to add 1 new rule to https://www.kingpin.info/download/rules.txt duo new host.
- Backup is made.
- Movement can take up 72 hours.
- Hopefully nothing goes wrong :)

There where some problems with the new host. They din't want downloads (I never heared this one before).

Anyway there still 28 days left and I will come with a new date soon for a new host.

I will post the last news item obove this. In the meanwhile probably becarefull with updating stuff on website :)

The website will be moved to another host shortly and will therefore be shut down temporarily in two days - hopefully only for one day, depending on how long the moving will take.
For all admins and hosts on this website, it is recommended not to upload or edit anything anymore after tomorrow, 13 September 2020. Otherwise those things might not be included in the backup.
