The man who can do everything Hypov8, has a new modelling tutorial Youtube video out showing how to convert a Quake2 model to Kingpin using 3DS Max. This video is part 1 and part 2 should be out very soon.

Single Player Maps Archive

Quite often I see new players online who have only played the single player game. When I ask them if they have played any of the many custom single player missions usually the answer is no.

So this is just another opportunity to let people know that we host all the custom single player missiosn that have been released for Kingpin so far.

The Sunday Games this week, starting at 9.00pm UK time, will be split between the GunRace mod and Halloween Capture the Flag Mod.

Dark Elf Bitch Skin

A Dark Elf custom skin for the Bitch model made by DziQ back in 2003.

You can download Dark Elf Bitch skin from here.

Just unzip all the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

Easiest way to select these skins is to:-

Pull down the console (tilde key ~)

Type in :-

skin "female_chick/dke dke dke"

Good Crowd At Thursday's Games

We had a good crowd turn up to the Halloween mod games on Thursday.

Terminator Thug Skin

Here is a nice Terminator skin for the thug model made by DEATH2U.

You can download Terminator thug skin from here.

Just extract the files to your kingpin folder.

Monkey Harris Kingpin Patch Updated To Ver7

Monkey Harris has updated his Kingpin patch to version 7.

A summary of the new features:-

-Fixes a few bugs

-Adds a new "redownload" command that can be used to download updated PAK files from
the server instead of visiting a website to get them.

Sometimes when you join a mod server the mod may have updated its pak file(s) and you still have the old version pak file(s).

Before this latest version of the patch when you tried to join that mod server you would get a message to say "You need v.x.xx client files to play on this server. Get them from kingpin.info" .
Now you can just type in 'redownload' and the latest pak file(s) will download and overwrite your outdated ones. This is a nice new feature.

-Adds a notice to the Visuals and Options menus when playing certain mods telling you that if you make any config changes (change controls, visual settings etc etc) they won't get saved and you should set the changes in normal non-mod Kingpin.

You can download MH Kingpin Patch ver7 from here.

Just unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and overwrite existing files if asked to do so.

Thursday Game Of Halloween Mod 24th October

The Thursday Game this week will be the Halloween mod. The night will be split between be Halloween Death Match and Halloween Bagman.

Storage Dump Deathmatch Map

Here is an older map that Cujo converted from Half-Life with some help from me.

It is called Storage Dump and is a large death match map set in some sort of storage facility. It has both indoor areas and outdoor ones as well.

It has twelve player spawns and plenty of weapons and items including three HMG's. 

You can download Storage Dump from here.

Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

New Kingpin Video

Here is a new video of Kingpin. It's a short 5 minute video of a player running around Rival Turf.
