More Problems With QTracker/GSLite

If you have checked today you will see that only the Newskool servers are showing up in QTracker/GSLite.

However, as I mentioned before, if you have all the servers in your Favourites in Gamespy Lite then you will still see them and be able to connect (by clicking on the Favourits button).

To make it easier I have uploaded a copy of the gspylitefavors.txt file which you can download from here.

This contains all the current Kingpin servers (including all of Macanah's Aussie servers, Mickey and Mallory's server and Truz's three servers (Cap-N-Yo-Ass Hitmen, Godfather and Catch the Chicken).

At the time of writing this Mickey and Mallory server and Truz's three servers are actually down (so wont show up in Favourites list).

Once you download the file make sure GSLite isn't running and then do the following:-

Locate the folder where you have gamespylite located (probably kingpin/gslite or kingpin/gamespy).

Extract the gspylitefavors.txt from the zipfile you just downloaded into this folder. If you already have a gspylitefavors.txt it will overwrite it so make a copy of your old one beforehand if you want to.

Now start up GSLite and click on Favourites and all the currently running servers should be listed.

I just checked my windows 10 pc and gslite is working fine for me.
Are you still having a problem with it and do you have the latest gslite installed?

I have created a permanent link that – when clicked – will generate the gs favorite entries live from the list of currently active servers (http://kingpin.hambloch.com).
This link works independent from qtracker, i.e. it works when qtracker is down and it includes servers that are not listed at qtracker!
