Stigma, with some help from me, has released a new death match map called DM Dead Club House.
It's a smallish death match map set in and around an old two level house.
The map uses a mix of custom and standard Kingpin textures.
It has 11 player spawns and features only shotguns, tommyguns and the HMG. It has ample armour, health and other items.
You can download DM Dead Club House from here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
The Xmas mod is back :)

This SRT-Alpha skin for the Thug model is from an unreleased mod for Kingpin that was in production in the early days of Kingpin. Like so many other mods from those days it never got finished.
This skin is the USA SRT (Special Response Team) skin and was the first of many different nationality skins that were planned.
You can download the SRT-Alpha Thug skin from here.
Just unzip all the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Easiest way to select these skins is to:-
Pull down the console (tilde key ~)
Type in :-
skin "male_thug/th1 th1 th1"
Otherwise you can go to the Gangbang "Player Setup" and select the skins there.
There will be a Tuesday night game this week to test two new DM and one new BM Map on Newskool servers and also to play a few maps on the new Dark Fiber Chicago server.

Educator has added twenty custom maps to his two Kingpin Dark Fiber servers.
So the servers now run the KPDM1-5 maps, some of the latest maps, a couple of older ones and also some lesser known maps.

Trickle has now released his first map for Kingpin which is a death match map called Enigmatic.
Enigmatic is a large map in the style of the N64 GoldenEye 007 game. It uses all custom textures that Trickle converted from GoldenEye.
It has ample weapons and items and should be a blast with a good size crowd.

One of the features of ver7 of the MH Kingpin patch is that it adds a new "redownload" command that can be used to download updated mod PAK files from the server instead of visiting a website to get them.
So if you connect to a server running a Kingpin mod (GunRace, CTF, Killapin etc) that has the mod client files in pak file format, and you get kicked for not having the latest client files (pak files), you can just type redownload into the console and it will download the latest client files overwriting your existing out of date files.
Very handy.

Here is a death match map Stigma made back in 2006.
Southside (kp2_southside.bsp) is a small, open area, death match map made up of bits and pieces from the single player game. It features rain, several single player props and some breakable boxes. It has eight player spawns and has one of every weapon except for the shotgun of which there are two.

The Sunday games this week will be the Killapin Mod on the Newskool Killapin server.
Killapin is a capture and hold mod with each map having between one and three control points. Each team has a boss (randomly selected) who gives out ammo and health to the other team members. The boss is only armed with a crowbar but at various times during a match the bosses become invulnerable to everyone except other bosses so can go on a bit of a melee rampage.
