Xanarki has released his first map for Kingpin. It is a small/medium sized Bagman map called Team Apartment Assembly.
The map is set in and around two apartment buildings under construction. It has several levels, ample weapons and items, and uses mostly standard textures with a few Redneck Rampage ones thrown into the mix..
From readme:-
After making many unfinished maps, roughly 20 years later, I have finally finished one. About halfway thru, I lost interest in the concept, and also learned many new techniques. In order to not let myself down, I decided to finish the map. It came out pretty decently, despite it being my first finished map. The concept is 2 apartment buildings under construction. Hopefully my next map will be even better.
You can download Team Apartment Assembly from here.
Download and open the zipfile, then just unzip/extract the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Jonez has now released his latest Bagman map called Team Anubis.
It's a great looking, Egyptian themed, medium sized Bagman map.
It uses all custom textures and several new models made by Jonez and Fredz (statues, trees etc).
Because it uses all custom textures, new models and custom sounds it's quite large (12.8 mb) so I suggest downloading it from us as opposed to a Kingpin server.
Since the initial announcement about Kingpin Reloaded there has been no news released. There has only been the occasional forum or Discord post by one of the devs.
Occasionally I hear about a player who can't download textures from servers (so a player joins a server and has to download a map they don't have. The map downloads ok but any associated custom textures don't download).
This usually happens with Windows 10 and Kingpin installed in the default location (c:/programe files).
What usually fixes this issue is to uninstall Kingpin and reinstall it in another folder such as c:/games.
