Elfor has released an updated version of the M4A1 colt replacement tommygun model.
This mod replaces the Tommy Gun with a Duke Nukem Forever styled version of the M4A1.
Based on the M4A1 weapon model by HypoV8 for GunRace, originally from Counter-Strike.
There is also a set of custom crosshairs included in the zipfile from Duke3D and Shadow Warrior.

You can download the DukeNukem M4A1 from here.
If you already have a pak8 and/or a pak9 file in your main folder then extract the new pak files to a temporary folder somewhere and rename them to another number such as pak2, pak3 etc which you don't already have. Then copy them to your kingpin/main folder.

There has been a further change to the way rate of fire pistol mods and cooling mods are used in GunRace.
Basically the rate of fire fire pistol mod and cooling mod has been removed and replaced by a new model called the modbox. The modbox model was created by Hypov8.
The modbox works for three weapons
They give the HMG the cooling mod
They give the pistol the rate of fire mod but they only last for thirty rounds.
They also make the shotty a bit quicker for thirty rounds.
Also when you join the GunRace server you will download a small pak2 file which includes a small update for the pistol.
Fredz has added the new Kingpin.info Discord channel to the Menu section on the left of the front page.
Just click on Chat and then Discord and you are there.
You can text chat, voice chat, post videos, screenshots, links to Kingpin files etc.
There are currently 26 members but lets get it to 50+ :)

Just a small update on the latest updats to the GunRace mod.
We have had a few very successful beta tests and, as a result, have made a few updates to the mod.
The cooling mods have been removed from the mod and been replaced by the rapid fire pistol mods.
1) The pistol mods now work for three weapons
They give the HMG the cooling mod
They give the pistol the rapid fire mod, of course, but now they only last for thirty rounds.
They also make the shotty a bit quicker for thirty rounds.
2) A rank position display has been added to the lower right of HUD showing your current rank (1 of 8, 2 of 12 etc).
3) The twin Uzis have been moved down the order of weapons and you now get them after the HMG.
4) A couple of other small bugs fixed.
I think one more beta test and if no more issues we will probably be ready to release v1.0.
