Elfor has sent along another map
Phoenix had that we don't host here.
This one is called Get Ready To Die!!! (combat_cityfix.bsp)
It's a large, urban style death match map made back in 2001 probably by someone in the {New} clan.
It has lots of different areas both inside and out and even includes a skate park.
It has seven player spawns and ample weapons and items.
You can download Get Ready To Die (combat_cityfix.bsp) from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
This map is currently in rotation on the Luschen Botmatch servers. So if you want to check it out join one of the Botmatch servers, open the console, and type - changemap combat_cityfix.
Joyeuse is currently porting the DUKE3D map Duke-Burger to Kingpin.
Duke-Burger is the second level of The Birth Episode in Duke Nukem 3D and was originally made by Allen Blum.
Here are some screens of the WIP.
Elfor has updated the Gravedigger BM map-pack with seven more maps that
Phoenix had that weren't in the pack.
The pack now contains fourteen bagman maps that were made by
Gravedigger in the early days of Kingpin.
You can download the Gravedigger Map-pack from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Phoenix had several
Gravedigger Bagman maps we didn't have and this is one of them.
Team Hockey (v3) is a medium sized Bagman map set in an Ice Hockey arena. The main feature is a hockey rink of course where the cash bag money drop is. The team bases are located in rooms surrounding the rink.
You can download Team Hockey (v3) from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Team Green River is my latest Bagman map. It's based on an old, half finished map by
DBC.
It's a small to medium sized, urban style, Bagman map. It has two main levels with the team bases at either end. The safe bags are on the lower level of the bases.
There is a lift at the back of each base that takes you up to a small third level where there is a body armour and back pack.
There are two money drop areas on the upper-level side walkways.
The middle of the map has a small river spanned by two shipping containers. There are two more shipping containers in the middle area containing cooling mods (one on each side of the river).
There are also lifts at both sides of the middle of the map that take you up to a small level where you will find the flame thrower.
There are ample weapons and items and fourteen player spawns for each team.
You can download Team Green River from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Phoenix sent along an old zip file he had full of old Kingpin content. It includes many old Kingpin maps (unfortunately many are missing textures).
Win2003 was one of the maps he sent along. Originally made in 2003 by unknown author,
Elfor did some map edits to add 4 more player spawns and fix a couple of issues and the map was renamed to win2003fix.
It is a small to medium death match map. The map is made up of several areas, with walkways, ramps , an outside area, rooms with some see through walls, and even some lava.
It has ten player spawns and ample weapons and items.
You can download win2003fix from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Joyeuse is currently working on a new Bagman map. It's called
Everyone's Mortal But Me and is based in part on the map with the same name in the game Marathon 2.
It's currently at beta 3 and here are some screens.
Elfor send in another map we didn't have.
This one is a death match map called
Shave the Rain Forest (black-lodge.bsp).
It's a small death match map. Basically a square arena with a two side passages leading to a room in the middle. Author unknown.
It has eleven player spawns and features one each of the hmg, rocket launcher, tommy gun and shotgun, as well as the usual ammo, armour and mods.
You can download Shave the Rain Forest from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Elfor sent along the released version of the old Bagman map called Team Twist3D (we only had the beta version). The map was made by -
Whoop Ass
Team Twist3D is a small Bagman map with an Alice in Wonderland theme. The only differences I can see from the beta is the addition of a custom sky and one different texture.
You can download Team Twist3D from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Here is a Bagman version of the Shoot First... Death Match map I have done. The original map was made by
Macanah for Quake 2, who gave me the map to convert to Kingpin.
Shoot First... is a small to medium sized, urban style, Bagman map. It is a two level map with the team bases at either end. The safe bags are on the lower level of the bases.
A large vat of green slime is in the centre of the lower level. There are two crisscrossing walkways on the top of the vat.
On either side of the the vat of slime there are shipping containers. There are teleports in both of the containers that teleport you to the upper level.
At the back of both team bases in the lower level there are lifts that take you to the upper level (and back again).
The upper level consists of two side corridors that connect to the two team bases. There is also a cross platform in the middle, containing the money drop, that allows you to jump down to the lower level (via two cross beams).
There are ample weapons and items and twelve player spawns for each team.
The map features graffiti textures made by the
Roarke twins.
You can download Team Shoot First... from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
