Macanah and I have collaborated on a new death match map called
Jagged Starlight. It is a port/partial remake of one of his Quake2 maps.
It's a medium sized space themed map and is currently in beta waiting to be tested.
Here are some screens.
The Edge of Oblivion (kphipdm1.bsp) is a map I converted from Quake back in 2009.
The original map was made by
The Levelord for the Quake add-on pack
Scourge of Armagon. The map is probably better known as hipdm1.
It's a medium sized deathmatch map and was the very first space map or 'suspended platform, aka void' map ever made.
You can download Edge Of Oblivion from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
I have done a revised version of the old Crushaville Hotel Hell Bagman map.
The original map was made by Neo -TC- back in 1999.
This is a largish sized Bagman map set in a hotel.
Each of the team's bases have safe rooms that are opened by nearby switches.
The bases are connected via a central area where the money drop is located.
There are two passages from each base to the central area and there are open air ducts in the safe rooms that you can move through to get to the other team's safe room.
The only HMGs in the map are in hotel rooms that have custom doors so they are easy to spot.
The main changes are I made it lighter, changed the amount and location of player spawns and also amount and location of weapons and items. Also a few minor texture changes.
Ful credit to
Neo -TC- for making the original map.

Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
I have updated the old Team Crushaville Hotel Hell Bagman map (team_cv1) that was made by
Neo -TC- and later revised by
AI_Tunnleram (team_hh).
The main changes are I made it lighter, changed the amount and location of player spawns and also amount and location of weapons and items.
The map is currently in beta and will hopefully be tested at the next weekly Bagman game.
We started playing the weekly games back in 2016 and every year since I have put together a yearly map pack of all maps released that year.
If you're new to multiplayer Kingpin and haven't got many maps yet why not grab these map-packs. Then you will have a majority of the maps that are currently in rotation on the servers.
You can grab the yearly map packs from
here.
Download and open the zipfile, then just unzip/extract the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
CTF Lostway is a conversion/partial remake of a recent CTF map from Soldier of Fortune for the Kingpin CTF mod. The original map for SoF was made by
Julien.
It is a smallish , two level, map with the only weapons being pistol, tommy, shotty and HMG.
The zip contains two versions - a straight conversion called ctf_lostway_small and a partial remake that is larger than the original with the upper area opened up and the lower area made larger.
The map has plenty of weapons, ammo, armour, health and has 12 player spawns for each team.
Full credit to Julien as the original author and to Raven Software for making SoF.
*Update* There was a bad player spawn point in the original release, so I have fixed the map and uploaded a final version.
You can download CTF Lostway Final from
here.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
I have finally taken my revised Look Back In Anger (dmgdm1.bsp) DM map out of beta.
The new version features hires upscaled textures and a few minor architectural changes. It's called Look Back In Anger 2023 (dmgdm1_2023.bsp).
Look Back In Anger 2023 is a medium sized, urban style, DM map for Kingpin. It was inspired by KPDM1 and KPDM4. It has two main large areas, and some smaller rooms connected by corridors, stairs and ladders. There are thirteen player spawns and ample weapons and other items.

Orbital Sanctum.
"Out of Commission" - The robotics division, only accessible to officials and researchers. Be wary of showcase rooms - prototypes may be activated by the alarm system.
After two years I have finally updated this map and taken it out of beta :)
Crossfire 2023 is a smallish sized map set in an urban environment that I converted to Kingpin from Quake 2.
It uses all the original textures, has 12 player spawns and ample weapons and items.
It’s an open fast-paced medium sized map featuring apartment blocks with a courtyard in the middle.
It is a conversion of the Action Quake 2 map that was made by
WizardExt. WizardExt was more than happy to have his maps converted to Kingpin.
Full credit to WizardExt for creating the original map.
