Sick City 2018 is another of the maps I made for the GunRace mod that is available for death match as well.
It is a remake of the old Sick City map (sickre.bsp). It is retextured with Redneck Rampage textures and also has some RR sounds added.
I fixed some bugs from the original map and changed some of the weapon and item amounts and placement. I also added many more player spawns as the original only had four.

Fredz and Hypov8 are working on a new mod based on the game Killing Floor called Thug Floor.
The idea is that players face 10 waves of enemy AI in each map. Each wave of enemie increases in size and toughness. Players receive points for killing enemy AI. At the end of each wave players can purchase weapons, ammo, health and armour with these points.
The mod is at an early stage of development and you may see people testing it at different times so feel free to join in.
The Thursday Games this week will be split between Death Match and the GunRace Mod.
Monkey Harris has included a new random mode in the Monkey Mod (like in the new Kill Confirmed mod) and this will be in place on Thursday so death match will include standard DM and other modes like Real Mode, Instagib and rocket mode.

Joint is yet another player who is back playing Kingpin. KFG Arena[1] is the first map he released many years ago.
It's a medium sized map with a simple texture plan. It's a good map, in the classic DM style, with many areas to frag in.

A few years after the map was released KFG Whyte the KFG clan leader asked me to redo the map and give it a Central Towers theme.
I did this and released the map as kfgdm1_re.

{SSF}Populous is back playing Kingpin so it's a good time to post about his old The Frag Box death match map.
The Frag Box is a simple one room DM map made by {SSF}Populous and {SSF}Million. It's a one room map with a drugs and porn theme.
It is a largish box room area with a smaller room inside. You can climb onto the roof of the inner room and also there are drug boxes in the corners of the larger room that you can climb up to get weapons.
There is also a secret room that features a classic South Park sound byte.

[BEER]Sadouk, who is back playing Kingpin again, sent me some old clan demos of [BEER] vs other clans.
It's always interesting to watch these clan demos to see how serious the matches were :) and, for long term players to see old familiar names.
You can download the [BEER] clan demos from here.
Just extract/unzip these files to your Kingpin folder. The zip is setup so that they will extract to kingpin/main/demos.
To watch them you open the console and type:
map xxxxxxxx.dm2
for example
map alcovsbeer.dm2
If the console doesn't retract just press space and esc and you should be ok.
Goat has updated his Kill Confirmed mod to v1.04.
It's only small changes but you will need the updated files to join the Newskool Kill Confirmed server.

Download the files, open the zipfile, and then just unzip/extract the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations. Overwrite any files if asked to do so.
Alernatively, if you have ver7 of the MH patch and try to join the Kill Confirmed server with old files it will give you the option of typing in redownload (then you will simply d/l the latest files and they will overwrite the exisiting files).
The Sunday Games this week will be an hour or so of the new Kill Confirmed mod and then the remainder of the night will be Capture the Flag on Newskool CTF server.
