Hypov8 is continuing to improve the GunRace bots and fix a few small bugs with the custom models.
As such there is a new pak2 file which has been added to the Luschen Gunrace +bots server.
If you already have a pak2 file in your kingpin/gunrace folder because you have played in the Gunrace server in the last few days please delete that file and you will download the udated file when you join the Gunrace +bots server.
Roarke has created a Hallowen themed creepy crawlies prefab pack.
I have made some prefabs for the upcoming Kingpin life of crime Hallowen mod, and i hope you enjoy it in your maping projects.
There are four prefabs which are a spider, maggot, millipede and wood lice.
Rourke created the prefabs for use iwth Quark and Hypov8 put them in a .map file for use with KPRAD.

Even though GunRace v1.0 has been released Hypov8 is still working on it.
He is currently adding the custom weapons to some custom player models so they can be used with the mod. Specifically so they can be used as the bots in the Luschen GunRace +bots server.
The models he is adding the weapons to are:-

male_themask
male_bender
male_alien
male_krafty
female_wilma
male_beavisbutthead
He is still working on improving the bots too.
In other GunRace mod news the files have been sent to Monkey Harris so he can create the Linux server files.

[M] has added a lot more maps to his new Luschen GunRace bots server:-
I added all maps that are in the Luschen Deathmatch rotation (minus those that were in the gunrace maplist already, e.g. kpdm5, and minus those that have been redone for gunrace, e.g. sickre).
He has also added player stats for the server.

Just click on Stats in the Luschen Gunrace server enrty.
You can also change number of bots, their skill (new!), weapon frags and order on the Kingpin Server list page now.

Following on from the release of Hypov8's DMFLgs Calculator Fredz has now created an online DMFlags Calculator.
He has added it to the Tutorials Section in the Menu, listed under Server.

Hypov8 has updated his DMFlags calculator which might be of some help to people who are setting up Kingpin servers.
Most death match servers have the DMFlags value set to 788 and Bagman servers to 1812 but if you wish to use other values this calculator will help.
How it helps is that you just tick which values you want to use, such as Weapons Stay, No Falling Damage etc, and the program will calculate the DMFlags value you need to use.
In this latest version, Hypo has added a decypher button to the calculator. So you put your dmflags value (such as 788) in the text field next to the decypher button and press decypher it will show you all the spawn flags you are currently using.
