Not a big crowd today but the game when for many hours:-
I have released a new Bagman Map called Team Tennis. We played a beta version at the Bagman game on Sunday and since then I have made a few small changes and now released the map.
This is a small Bagman map set in and around a tennis court. The court is in the centre of the map where the money drop is and there are three ways to get to the other teams base.
There are plenty of weapons and items, 12 player spawns for each team, and even a couple of custom tennis sounds.
You can download Team Tennis from here.
Just extract/unzip all files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
There is also a death match version of the Tennis map which you can download from here.
While searching for another file in an old archived Kingpin website I found three custom chrome grappling hooks for use with the Hitmen mod.
They are chrome versions of the smiley face, skull and axe custom grappling hooks.
You can downlaod them from here:-
Chrome Axe
Chrome Smiley Face
Chrome Skull
The hooks are in pak3 files. Just extract/unzip the pak3 file to your Kingpin folder. This will place the pak3 file in your kingpin/hitmen folder.
The zipfiles include an autoexec.cfg and a binds.cfg for hitmen. You only need these if you don't already have these files in your hitmen folder. If you do need them just extract/unzip them to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in your kingpin/hitmen folder.
There is also a readme included in the zipfiles with more information on how to use the hook in game.
If you install one of these custom hooks and want to try it out then go to the Luschen Hookmatch Hitmen server (87.175.206.47:31511).
Roarkes has updated his new Kingpin site. It now has some mapping tutorials for Quark users, a description and link for his Enhanced Graphics Kingpin mod and a nice video of some real life urban decay in an abandoned tobacco factory near where he lives.
You can check out Roarkes Kingpin site here.
Here are all the clan demos Cleo sent me. There are many of them covering games by many different clans from the old days.
You can download the clan demos from here.
Just extract/unzip these files to your Kingpin folder. The zip is setup so that they will extract to kingpin/main/demos.
To watch them you bring down the console and type:
map xxxxxxxx.dm2
for example
map ak-ma.dm2
If the console doesn't retract just press space and esc and you should be ok.
Check out all the other demos we have here.
Here is a short YouTube video from back in 2012 showing off the blood and gore in Kingpin.

Screens from he game:-
I just found an old death match map called Southside Harbour that was made by Stigma back in 2006. I have now uploaded it to our death match maps archive.
Southside Harbour (dm_sh.bsp) is a medium sized map made up of bits and pieces from some of the single player maps.
It's a typical Stigma style map that he was making around this time.
You can download Southside Harbour from here.
Cleo AKA {GA}Cleopatra has sent me a bunch of old Kingpin demos. Some are clan matches and some are just people playing, and testing out, some custom maps.
The ones I uploaded today are the demos of custom maps from back in 2002. These ones include people playing in these maps and also some of Cleo just checking them out. If you don't know many of the custom maps from back then this is a good way to check them out. There are also a couple of KPDM5 demos thrown in there as well.
You can download the map demos from here.
Just extract/unzip these files to your Kingpin folder. The zip is setup so that they will extract to kingpin/main/demos.
To watch them you bring down the console and type:
map xxxxxxxx.dm2
for example
map 4room_sof.dm2
If the console doesn't retract just press space and esc and you should be ok.
You need the actual map being played to watch the demos. Most of the demos use the relevant map name, so I suggest trying to load the demo and if it says you don't have the map then you can download the relevant map from here.
Now that Cleo has sent in these demos I'm tasking here with trying to locate some of these nice people in the demos and get them playing Kingpin again :D
