Hypov8 has created a video on how to make the perfect tree in the Kingpin Radiant mapping editor.
It's only a short video and Hypo has included closed captioned text to explain the process. I suggest watching the video at half speed so you can read all the text and follow what Hypo is doing.
I followed this video tute and was able to make the tree like in the video.
I received some heart breaking news today. Our good friend Andreas (Gussardo to his Kingpin friends) has passed away in a motor cyle accident.
Andreas was a much loved member of our community and will be sorely missed.
Our heart felt condolences go out to Jan and his family.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Monkey Harris added a dozen different maps to the server for the 20th Anniversary game so if you play make sure to check out the map voting screens for maps you don't recognise and vote for them.

Jerry has created a new cartoonish head skin for the Thug. The name of the skin is Sexy Nose Thug.
You will see Jerry wearing this head skin in the servers.
You can download Sexy Nose Thug skin from here.
Just unzip/extract the file to your Kingpin folder and it will be placed in the corrrect location (main/models/actors/thug).
This is just a head skin so any body and legs skin can be used such as body_009 and legs_003.
Easiest way to select this skin is to:-
Pull down the console (tilde key ~)
Type in :-
skin "male_thug/sns 009 003"
Deluxive (aka Mr.Goodfinger), with a little help from me, has remade the famous counter-strike Rats map for Kingpin.
The map is set in a large kitchen with the players the size of rats. There is the main area of the open kitchen plus you can enter the cupboards and the area under the sink.
If you get to close to the stove top plates you will get burnt :)
The map features low gravity so it's a little easier to get around and adds to the fun factor.
It features a mixture of standard and custom textures, has 16 player spawns and ample weapons and items.

Ok I finally have the details of the schedule for the big 20th Anniversary game on Sunday.
***Please note that the games will be starting earlier at 8.30pm UK time/3.30pm EST.***
The planned shedule is -
8.30pm Classic Gangbang (KPDM1-5 maps)
9.00pm Test of new Killa mod (capture and hold style mod)
9.30pm Custom deathmatch
10.00pm Bagman
11.00pm onwards other mods will be chosen to play from whoever is in the server.

Don't worry about the number of server changes - Monkey Harris will be at the game and he now has a command in the Monkey Mod (which all servers use) that allows the admin to move all players to another server seamlessly.
It's possible the schedule might slip a little. For instance I have gotten MH to add 11 different maps to the custom deathmatch server so if ppl want to play some of them it may be more than 30 minutes in that server.

This is a historic milestone in the life of Kingpin so I hope you can all make the game. If you can't make the start come later :)
Stigma has released a new deathmatch map called DM Krampus.
It is a large map that features heavy fog (set fog to yes in visuals menu).
It is a remake/larger version of the old DM MortalHavoc2 map.
It is set in a warehouse type of building with several boxes/crates placed around the map.
There seems to be ample weaposn and items and should handle a medium to large crowd.
