Here is a John Rambo skin for the Thug skin. The skin was made by a big Rambo movie fan called Sketch.
You can download the Rambo Thug skin from here.
Just extract the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Easiest way to select this skin is to:-
Pull down the console (tilde key ~)
type in - skin "male_thug/ram ram ram"
It's been a while since I posted about a singleplayer episode so I thoghut I would make up for it by posting about the five part series made by Wheelbarrow.
The Funeral is the first episode of the series.
The Story : You have been invited to the funeral of an enemy boss...figuring it's the right thing to do, you make a point of attending, but soon after your arrival, you start having second thoughts.....Fortunately, you had the foresight to have one of you lackeys plant a small firearm in the entrance foyer of the church...checkout the water before you go in for the early morning service...Good Luck!
The order in which to play the five episodes is Funeral, The Chase, Gulag, Reprisal and Sanctuary.
Each episode is stand alone but all five mappacks continue the same story. It starts with the first pack The Funeral where you are attending the funeral of a rival gang boss. The following packs you are pitted gainst a gang that basically wants you dead and it culminates with a showdown in a large military base in Sanctuary.

Installing & Loading : Unzip the file into your Kingpin/main/maps directory.
Create a desktop shortcut for Kingpin and then add the following:-
+set developer 1 + skill 1 +map church
skill can be 0 = easy, 1 = normal, 2 = hard.
I just found the old Rambo custom crosshairs that were made by *f12* RAMBO.
There are two sets so I have added them to pak files and uploaded them.

It came to our attention a couple of days ago that people in some countries (such as Russia) weren't able to download files from Kingpin.info.
Fredz has investigated the problem and has fixed it so hopefully everyone should be able to download all he files they want.
If anyone is still having problems please leave a comment in this post.

Fredz has added a link to Monkey Harris's Kingpin Patch in the Menu Section on the left (Kingpin Patch Config). It'll be there for a few weeks until everyone who wants it has downloaded it.

Monkey Harris has released v04 servver files for the Crash Mod for both Linux and Windows.
V04 features bug fixes and improvements. You can read all aboutthe changes in he readme but some of them are the addition of anti-lag, tweaks to the radar, tweaks to the molotov cocktails and enabling of downloading from Crash servers.

***Update 15th March*** Monkey Harris has released an updated version of the server files fixing a small bug that was missed. Download Links have been updated to new versions.
If you are going to run a Crash server you need the clent file too for the Crash maps and so players can downlaod the client fiels from the server if they don't have them already.
It is recommended that you use the KPDED2 Enhanced Kingpin Server File to run your server. Apart from many other fixes and imrovements it allows players to download the client file from the server.

I have just updated the four custom rocket launcher skin zipfiles so that they are now all in pak7 files.
Three of the skins are hud only skins which means only you see them. They are:-
The other skin has all the files so you see the custom skin in your hud, on the ground and when other players are carrying the rl:-
I have now finished updating all the single custom weapon skin zipfiles and placing them into pak files.
We also host several zipfiles which contain skins for multiple weapons (from two weapons to all of them). You can check these files out here.
They are also all in pak files so check the readmes for install isntructions.
Here is a Russian Youtube video showing people how to download Gamespylite, set it up, and use it to go and play online. It also shows some footage of various servers. Kingpin.info and [M]'s Server page are shown.
Surely it's worth a view and a thumbs up for helping to promote playing Kingpin online.
A few years ago a site called Gearburn featured an article called the Top 10 videogame weapons of all time. Kingpin made the list but probably not for the weapon you think.
