Apart from the GunRace maps Goat has added another 25 or so death match maps to the GunRace beta server.
You will probably have some of them and some you might not so why not download the map-pack so you are all ready for the game :)

Fredz has released a new death match map called 4 Shades.
It is a smallish map set outdoors in a forest area.
There are many trees, a shack, a broken down Kingpin platform and the ground is all uneven.
There are 14 player spawns and plenty of weapons and items. It should be frantic action in this one.

I have released a new Bagman map called Urban Fury.
Urban Fury is a large, urban style, Bagman map. It is a remake of Team Big Town (team_dmg3). Team Big Town is a very large map so I made it somewhat smaller and did some redesign of the layout to compensate for the changes.
The map is set in an decaying, urban city, environment. The Team bases are made up of many buildings, streets and intersecting passageways. The bases are separated by a train station in the middle of the map where the money drops are. I put two money drops in this map.
The map uses mostly standard textures but there are a few custom textures featured.
Most of the graffiti textures are made by Roarke.
There are also several custom sounds included.
There is a small cache of weapons and items at each base but mostly they are spread throughout the map.
Hypov8 also helped with the map.

I have converted The Abandoned Base map from Quake. The map is the third death match level in Quake and was designed by John Romero.
It's a large map and apparently is the most popular Quake death match level.
I made two versions. A straight conversion of the map keeping the original Quake textures (kpq1dm3) and a version with Kingpin textures and two small structural changes (kpq1dm3_v2).
Update 14th April : The bug in kpq1dm3 has been fixed and I have uploaded the new version. Sorry about that.

When I was helping DrBrain set up his new server I found this map in his maps folder.
Evil Tower (kpq2-dm_towerx.bsp) is a Quake2 map converted to Kingpin by {GT}Knight.
It is a largish one room map that has a tower in the centre. It only uses a few textures and they are all custom ones. It has ample weapons and items mostly scattered around the edges of the room. DrBrain said it was a very popular map back in the day.

I just found the No Hope death match map that we didn't have in our archives. I haven't played this map since aobut 2002.
It is a small, circular map, converted from Quake 2, by {GT}Knight. It uses custom textures and has one of every weapon except the Rocket Launcher of which there are two.
It was converted for use with the old KPQ2 mod but works great in death match.

Fredz has now released a beta of his new Bagman Map Team Doom3.
The map is a medium to large Bagman map based on Doom3. The bases are fairly straight forward and the Team's cash bags are inside cages.
There are basically two routes between bases, upper and lower passages. The lower route is basically a lava room where you might see a ghost or two and the upper route is full of blood and giant skeletons. The money drop is in the middle of the upper route.
There are weapon caches in the bases, of course, and you can get into the air conditioning ducts to snipe and to get the HMG cooling mods.

After getting a suggestion from Elfor Acc has released a beta of a Bagman version of his Dark Woods Shrine map.
The map contains 16 spawn points per team and is pretty huge, some extra textures were added to differentiate bases
