New DUKE3D Map Port On Way

Joyeuse is currently porting the DUKE3D map Duke-Burger to Kingpin.

Duke-Burger is the second level of The Birth Episode in Duke Nukem 3D and was originally made by Allen Blum.

Thursday Game of Hitmen, Death Match & Crash Mod 1st Feb.

The Thursday Games this week will be an hour of Hitmen Mod (using Hitmen maps) on the Newskool server, then an hour of Death Match and the rest of the night will be the Crash mod. DM and Crash will be on the East Coast USA servers.

Crash mod will have no map voting just run through the maplist (many of the popular maps have been placed at the top of the maplist).

Gravedigger Bagman Map-pack Updated

Elfor has updated the Gravedigger BM map-pack with seven more maps that Phoenix had that weren't in the pack.

The pack now contains fourteen bagman maps that were made by Gravedigger in the early days of Kingpin.

You can download the Gravedigger Map-pack from here.

Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

Sunday Game Of Bagman 28th Jan.

The Sunday Game this week will be Bagman on the East Coast USA Bagman server.

The first two maps played will be maps made by Gravedigger.

Bagman Map Added To Archive - Team Hockey

Phoenix had several Gravedigger Bagman maps we didn't have and this is one of them.

Team Hockey (v3) is a medium sized Bagman map set in an Ice Hockey arena. The main feature is a hockey rink of course where the cash bag money drop is. The team bases are located in rooms surrounding the rink.

Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.

New Bagman Map Team Green River

Team Green River is my latest Bagman map. It's based on an old, half finished map by DBC.

It's a small to medium sized, urban style, Bagman map. It has two main levels with the team bases at either end. The safe bags are on the lower level of the bases.

There is a lift at the back of each base that takes you up to a small third level where there is a body armour and back pack.

There are two money drop areas on the upper-level side walkways.

The middle of the map has a small river spanned by two shipping containers. There are two more shipping containers in the middle area containing cooling mods (one on each side of the river).

There are also lifts at both sides of the middle of the map that take you up to a small level where you will find the flame thrower.

There are ample weapons and items and fourteen player spawns for each team.

Death Match Map Added To Archive

Phoenix sent along an old zip file he had full of old Kingpin content. It includes many old Kingpin maps (unfortunately many are missing textures).

Win2003 was one of the maps he sent along. Originally made in 2003 by unknown author, Elfor did some map edits to add 4 more player spawns and fix a couple of issues and the map was renamed to win2003fix.

It is a small to medium death match map. The map is made up of several areas, with walkways, ramps , an outside area, rooms with some see through walls, and even some lava.

It has ten player spawns and ample weapons and items.

New Bagman Map On Way

Joyeuse is currently working on a new Bagman map. It's called Everyone's Mortal But Me and is based in part on the map with the same name in the game Marathon 2.

It's currently at beta 3 and here are some screens.

Kingpin Reloaded Patched To 1.05

Kingpin Reloaded has now been patched to v1.05 on Steam.

It basically fixes one issue but it's one that a lot of ppl have complained about.

Fixed crash after hardcore mode is enabled.
