After two years I have finally updated this map and taken it out of beta :)
Crossfire 2023 is a smallish sized map set in an urban environment that I converted to Kingpin from Quake 2.
It uses all the original textures, has 12 player spawns and ample weapons and items.
It’s an open fast-paced medium sized map featuring apartment blocks with a courtyard in the middle.
It is a conversion of the Action Quake 2 map that was made by
WizardExt. WizardExt was more than happy to have his maps converted to Kingpin.

Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
I have released an updated version of the Sick City map, originally created by
Cole Savage, using upscaled textures. It's called Sick City 2023.
Sick City is a small to medium sized, classic, death match map made in 1999. This updated version features some minor layout changes and bug fixes, some weapon and item changes and uses all upscaled textures.
The textures were created by Method so full credit to him for making them.
Full credit also to Cole Savage for creating the original sickre map.

Because it has larger, upscaled, textures the download is larger than usual so it's better to download here rather than downloading from a server.
Just extract/unzip the files to your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
The Sunday Games this week will be an hour or so of DM on Newskool Fragfest server and then the remainder of the night will be Capture the Flag mod. Firstly on the Newskool CTF server then moving to the East Coast USA CTF server after an hour or so.

I'm working on a new DM map called Kill City. It's a Radio City themed map.
It's mostly an original map but the middle area with the Hopper's Cafe and nearby building is ripped from the map rc2. Also in the garage the car and hydraulic lift is ripped from the map sr4.
It's just gone into beta and will hopefully be finalised and released shortly.
The Thursday games this week are Kill Confirmed Tagman mode and then Crash Mod. Both on
Newskool servers.
Kill Confirmed Tagman mode is like Bagman only with Tags.
Tagman uses normal Bagman maps. You can steal a max of 5 Tags from the enemies safe and a max of 3 Tags from killing an enemy player.

Elfor has made alternative, gloomy texture edits for the two recently released Wild West maps dm_ol & team_tehc which I converted to Kingpin.
Among the darker textures it also has a gloomier sky with a few other edits, such as haystacks instead of boxes.

Keep in mind if you install these maps the textures and sky from the original two maps will be overwritten and you will have to download them again to get them back.
