Here is a death match map set in an army base made by DooDaa.
Base Command Final is a smallish map that is an Army Base Command Centre. The map has an outside area, a hanger containing an APC, and 3 buildings. The building next to the hanger is the main communications building. There is a building that can't be entered and the other building houses the sleeping quarters upstairs, and the war planning room and mess area downstairs. There are also several custom sounds.

It seems there are people out there who love Kingpin but don't know there is a small, active community, still around.
One of the recent live stream playthrough videos is by Fuxas TV and we have been chatting via the comments section of Youtube.
He loves Kingpin but thought he was the last person in the world who was playing it. Of course I let him know about this site and the Kingpin community.

Recently I told you about a spate of videos of Kingpin playthroughs being live streamed.
The latest by Cubeface is a world record speedrun for Kingpin apparently with a time of 30:52.
This Thursday's game at 9.30pm UK time will be the Capture the Flag Mod on the Newskool CTF Server.

You can download the files from the server but if you want to get them beforehand to save time you can grab the full install which includes everything you need to run a server or to just connect to one as a client including all available CTF maps from here.
When I was updating the zipfile and testing out the Enhanced Bagman mod I found that the custom tommygun model wasn't quite right. Some of the animations weren't right. So Hypov8 converted a new custom tommygun model for use in the mod.
Now he has released his ColtM41a model as a stand alone custom model for use in all forms of Kingpin. It will show up in your hud and when on the ground in map

The files are in a pak4 file.
Just Unzip/extract the pak4 file to your Kingpin folder and it will be placed in the correct location.
If you already have a pak4 file in your main folder then extract the new pak4 to a temporary folder somewhere and rename it to another number such as pak3, pak5 etc which you don't already have. Then copy it to your kingpin/main folder.
The classic Quake 2 map Tokay's Towers (q2dm2.bsp) has been converted to Kingpin twice. Once by Team Atrophy and then by DirtyDog.
Tokay's Towers is a medium sized death match map, very tall, with four towers, and lots of water at the bottom.
The Atrophy version, Tokay's Atrophy Towers (kpq2dm2c.bsp), is textured very similar to their other Quake 2 conversions.
Tokay's Towers (tokays_towers.bsp), by DirtyDog, uses the ship yard texture set.

Acc has posted another three videos highlighting his Jackbot bots he is currently working on.
The videos show off new movments (jumping, climbing, riding elevators), combat style, their unpredicable behaviour etc.

The zipfile contains a Venom skin and a skin of his host Eddie Brock.
Yopu can download the Venom thug skin from here.
Just unzip all the files to your kingpin folder and they will be placed in the correct locations.
Easiest way to select these skins is to:-
Pull down the console (tilde key ~)
Type in :-

or
